The best afterschool activities are built on kids' interests and experiences.
For our after-school children we provide opportunities for social growth and development. The activities are informal, active and fun generating but at the same time have educational value and are interactive. A different activity is offered each day. We try to generate interest because the more the kids are involved in the activity, the more successful the activity will be. These activities also teach the kids to work in groups.
Our after school program caters to the needs of elder children who require care after their regular school is over. This includes children in the age group of 6 years to 10 years. We extend the following assistance to children after their school:
- Homework Assistance: We assist the child with following up on their classwork and taking care of their homework. This ensures that the child is always pro-active and up to date with their studies. Doing this also inculcates strong study habits in children. And then after going home, they can spend quality time with their parents without having any homework-related worries.
- Extracurricular Activities: We also have extra-curricular activities such as art / craft classes, music and movement, Yoga & Meditation classes along with creative writing, spoken english and abacus classes.
- Play: Children love to play! And along with other children. We facilitate creative play groups so that children can enjoy their play and have lots of fun!
- Lunch, Snacks & Dinner: Depending on what time the child comes back from school he/she will be part of of the corresponding meal. Lunch in the noon and light snacks in the afternoon is followed by a nutritious and early dinner in the evening.
